Colorado Trail Challenge

10/11/20:

Today was another Spence family adventure day! We got up relatively early and headed out to Camden Snow Bowl to do a chairlift foliage ride. It was pretty packed, but it was nice how well everyone (except a few) complied with mask-wearing and social distancing. The ride itself was a little slow, but as you can imagine, the higher you got, the more beautiful the views!

Yes! That’s the ocean back there! While the views on the ride back down the mountain were better and easier to see, we decided to hike down one of the less populated trails. It was only a mile, but by the end, my quads were on fire from walking downhill at 45-degrees decline.

After we left, we stopped to pick up some pumpkins from one of the patches on the side of the road and had a blast finding the perfect ones! Unless you were Parker, who despite being born on Halloween and being the unofficial pumpkin queen, was having a terrible day and had zero interest in it.
